Claro Sports
About
Claro Sports is a leading Latin American sports broadcaster delivering live events, scores, and athlete stories. This project reimagines their digital presence for the Paris 2024 Olympics, designing high-impact components like medal trackers, athlete cards, and live scores alongside refreshed core pages. The concept demonstrates how Claro Sports could engage fans with clarity, energy, and a modern, dynamic identity—making the site both an information hub and a vibrant destination for sports culture.
Challenge
With the Paris 2024 Games approaching, Claro Sports needed a refreshed digital expression that could energize fans and help the brand stand out in a crowded sports landscape. Instead of a full redesign, this quick concept sprint focused on imagining what a more modern, Olympic-ready presence could look like.
Outcome
The concept introduced a clearer hierarchy, a stronger brand voice, and a more premium visual system that gives Claro Sports a distinctive identity going into major sporting events. It demonstrated how a refreshed digital experience could deliver energy, clarity, and momentum for fans following the Olympic Games.
What I Learned
Designing live, dynamic components: Creating medal trackers, athlete cards, betting modules, and live scores sharpened my skills in hierarchy, clarity, and motion for real-time data.
Collaboration is key: Working alongside two other designers on separate pages required clear communication to ensure my Olympic components integrated seamlessly with the broader site.
Navigating language and cultural context: Designing for a Spanish-language site highlighted the importance of close collaboration with the LATAM design director to understand translations and cultural nuances.
